simple solutions thursday
Nowadays, our cars have become a physical extension of our homes. After school activities, play dates, eating on the run, offices to go. And most of the time it shows. Papers, trash, random items strewn across the floorboards and trunk. No thank you, not for this gal! As a professional organizer, I am always traveling from place to place, making my vehicle my mobile office. And if that is my office, then it needs to function as such. But I also have to keep in mind that it is my family's vehicle outside of my 9-5. Without further ado, may I introduce you to one of my top favorite organizational products...
This Rola MOVE Rigid Base trunk organizer is what everyone should have, regardless if you own a car, SUV, or minivan. Made in two different sizes, 3 or 5 dividers, the non-skid base, adjustable dividers/compartments, and handles for easy moving/transport, make this organizer on point for just about everyones needs.
I separated my organizer into 4 main compartments:
- client files, folders, and documents
- first aid kit
- emergency car kit
- organizing supply kit
The small mesh compartment on the front also allows me extra space to carry furniture movers and business cards.
Without the help of this beauty, my SUV would most definitely be a huge mess, that of which does not reflect myself or my business in a positive light. Not to mention the peace of mind it gives me traveling from client to client with all of my necessary supplies in tow.
What do you keep in your trunk? What are your systems for keeping it organized? Tag me in your photos on Instagram, @organized_simplicity, I would love to see your creativity!
